Jérôme PIGNIEZ, apart from having academic training in marketing and being specialist in the Silver Economy and ageing-well, is the president of On Medio and founder of SilverEco.org, an international information portal about the Silver Economy.
Jérôme PIGNIEZ is invited regularly to take part in colloquia, forums or congresses, to participate in the writing of books and reports, or even in different working groups on the subject of the population ageing. In 2013 he was the rapporteur of one of the working groups on the Silver Economy of the French Ministry of the Elderly and Autonomy, which has allowed the creation of the Official State Pact dedicated to the Silver Economy in France. After this intervention, he was in charged of enumeration of the agents of this complex sector.
Through On Medio, Jérôme Pigniez not only accompanies and advises different companies in the sector, but also actively participates in different initiatives that allow the fast and efficient structuring of the sector: National Syndicate for the Silver Economy SYNAPSE, Silver Valley, CNR, working groups of Afnor, etc.
Through the “Directorio nacional de la Silver Economía”, which brings together in its paper and digital editions all the agents working in this ecosystem.
Jérôme PIGNIEZ is also the producer of Silver Night, an event that gives the SilverEco awards in France and the SilverEco & Ageing Well International Awards. The main objective of these two events is to highlight and focus on the best initiatives, products, services or projects dedicated to ageing-well, both at the French and international levels.

Associate Professor in 2004, collaborator Professor since October 2004, Contracted Doctor of the Department of Nursing of the University of Jaén since March 2009 and currently, since March 2012 Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Jaén. He has a recognised autonomous section with 9 trienials of antiqueness, three of them in the University and the rest in the National Health System where he holds an official position leave of absence and where I had responsibility as Director of Hospital Division for more than 14 years in different hospital in addition to extensive clinical care experience.
Researcher in three lines of research have originated 14 magazine articles, indexed and of recognized prestige, 6 books, 7 chapters of book and more than 90 interventions in national and international Congresses, all of them of special relevance in Health Management, Gerontology and socio-health care.
TEACHING AND ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
Professor in the Department of Sociology of the University of Granada and international researcher associated with the Center for Healthy Aging of Penn State University (United States).
In 1999 he was part of the management group of the International Consortium for Intergenerational Programs and since then he has devoted most of his research to intergenerational relationships and projects.
He has been a member of the advisory committee of the Center for Intergenerational Practice of the Beth Johnson Foundation (United Kingdom) and he contributed to the launch of the European Map of Intergenerational Learning, the largest European network dedicated to the intergenerational field.
Between 2005 and 2012 he was the technical coordinator of the Intergenerational Relations Network of IMSERSO, composed of nearly a thousand members and dedicated to supporting the development of the intergenerational field in Spain. During this period, he directed the first mapping work of intergenerational projects in Spain, he participated in the training of technicians in intergenerational intervention -both in Spain and in Latin America- and he was part of the research team that established the general and specific profile of the managers of Spanish intergenerational projects.
He is currently co-director of the Certificado en Proyectos Intergeneracionales and the International Certificate in Intergenerational Learning, two fully online training focused on the design, implementation and evaluation of intergenerational projects.
He also directs the Laboratiorio de Espacios Intergeneracionales, dedicated to studying and enhancing attention to spaces as facilitators of the interaction between people of different generations.
Professor Sánchez is in charge of the research team that he is piloting, in three schools in Granada and Murcia, a new intergenerational Primary School model, with support from the Ministry of Economy and Finanace, the Junta de Andalucía and the Región de Murcia. He is also responsible in Spain for the campaign ¡Hablémos de vacunas! whose objective is to raise awareness, through intergenerational dialogue, about the importance of paying attention to vaccination throughout life.
In 1992 he made a Master in Bioengineering, singnal processing for ECG analysis at the University of Florence (Italy). Later, in 1997 he became Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Robotics at the Scuola Superiore Sant’ Anna Pisa (Italy). It was in 2000 when he became post graduate in Analysis of clinical requirements and state of the art in the Knee Minimally invasive surgery domain. Since April 1992 up to now he participates in several steering committees and editorial boards of different international journals and conferences. He has been author of more than 30 papers on International Journals. He has been invited as speaker in several international workshops and conferences. He is external Examiner of several Ph.D. research thesis for different universities across Europe.
He has been consultant on biomedical, bioengineering and signal processing, among others, of several intalian entities such as Rizzoli Institute, Istituto di Fisiologia Clinica, CNR Medicina Interna department of the Santa Maria Nuova Hospital.
Since October 2017 until July 2015 he was Innovation Manager in Healthcare for Florence University. In favor of the promotion towards innovation pathway of research results and best practice generated by Florence University in the domains of Life Science, Biomedical Engineering and Healthcare.
Since June 1998 up to now he is external expert for the European Commission where his main activies and responsibilities are: Expert Project Evaluator for R&D and Market Deployment projects in the following domains Life- Science, ICT, e-Health, e-inclusion, e-learning.
Apart from that, since April 2002 and January he is Business Development Director of I+ and Visiting Professor Computer Science Research Institute and School of Computing and Mathematics Ulster University Belfast, respectively.

She has been Dean of the Faculty of Social Work of the University of Jaén (1999-2012) and Vice Chancellor of Equality, Culture and Development Cooperation of the Universidad Internacional of Andalucía and Director of the UNESCO Chair of "Interculturalidad y Derechos Humanos” of the Universidad Internacional of Andalucía (2013-2017).

She was appointed expert by the Comité Español de Representantes de personas con Discapacidad. Evaluadora de la Agencia Nacional de Evaluación y Prospectiva (ANEP), and national and international journals in the field of Social Sciences.
Alicia Carrillo, graduated in Social Work and Graduated in Law from the University of Granada. She studied the Master's Degree in Social Gerontology at the same university and later he completed a Postgraduate in Management of Residential Centres at the Universidad Ramón Llull (Barcelona).
She has been an evaluator and adviser of evaluation and accreditation procedures of professional competences acquired through experience, public institutions and the Home Help Service.
In 2006 she took over the management of the Day Centre for the Elderly "Reina Sofía" (Granada).
In 2008, she became technical project coordinator for the Andalusian business group “Transformaciones Sociosanitarias Andaluzas” (TRASSA), of which she would later become a manager for three years.
She currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer, at Macrosad an Andalusian cooperative of education, care and recovery for people.
Dr. Guldemond is professor Integrated care and technology at the Institute of Health Policy and Management at the Erasmus University. He holds a degree in medicine and electric engineering. Beginning 2000s he was the founder of the “Medical Field Lab’, an early example of a health/medical oriented living lab based on open-innovation and co-creation for which he received internationally great acknowledgement.
He is a key expert on healthcare transformation, eHealth implementation and public-private partnerships with a passion to create an impact for society, science and business.
He is advisor for various international organisations such as WHO Global eHealth Observatory, EU Programmes as the EIT Knowledge Innovation Community (KIC) Health and KIC Digital, Ambient Assisted Living, Innovative Medicine Initiative, H2020 and the Netherlands Innovative Medical Device Initiative.
He is active numerous international, national and regional eHealth programmes: China, NHS UK, NHS Scotland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Germany, Belgium, Brazil, Iran, Finland, Romania, US and South America. Often in collaboration with industry such as multinational companies in Pharma (Roche, Novartis, Genzyme, J&J, Grunenthal), Medtech (Philips, MEDTRONIC, COCIR), Health IT (Microsoft, Ascom, Ortec, Vodafone) and finance (Rabobank, Natwest, RBS).
Dr. Guldemond was architect of the national eHealth and Big Data implementation strategy and program director eHealth on behalf of the Netherlands Federation of University Medical Centres (NFU).
He is successful coordinator of the European initiative EIP on Healthy and Active Ageing. Dr. Guldemond is member of the ISO strategic advisory group on AgeiNg Societies.
Graduated in Social Work from the University of Barcelona, postgraduate in Direction in Social Equipments by the Universiadad Ramón Llull and Master in Business Management based on the EFQM quality model by the Universidad Rovira Virgili.
Among the various positions that she currently holds:
In 1995 she created L'Onada Serveis/Onacare, an organization specialised in services to people who currently manage more than 30 centres located in Catalonia, Valencia and Madrid, covering more than 2.500 people and with more than 1200 professionals guaranteeing, day by day, a quality service.
L'Onada is known for its platform with more than 37 services under the model of Atención Centrada en la Persona (ACP), and by techniques such as Dementia Care Mapping (DCM) and validation. Her career has given her different awards for Quality and to her bussiness career at professional level.
María Pascual is graduated in history from the UAM.
She has been trained in the international and humanitarian cooperation field, and social action and intervention.
Her most recent proffesional career has been working with different development organisations in West Africa, as coordinator of "Muévete por la Igualdad" Campaign of Ayuda en Acción, as a technician of the European project GENDERNET.
She is currently the Coordinator of the Social Area of the Foundation "Amigos de los Mayores".
